Stainless Steel Ferrule Mesh Material Selection:
Our hand-woven stainless steel ferrule mesh is manufactured from premium stainless steel wire ropes and seamless stainless steel ferrules. To meet different environmental requirements, the wire ropes are available in two material grades: 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.
304 Stainless Steel is the most commonly used material for stainless steel wire rope mesh. It offers excellent strength, corrosion resistance, and durability, making it suitable for the majority of indoor and outdoor applications.
316 Stainless Steel provides enhanced corrosion resistance due to its molybdenum content. It is especially recommended for harsh environments with high humidity, salt spray, or marine exposure, such as coastal areas, seaside locations, and offshore projects.
By selecting the appropriate material grade, stainless steel ferrule mesh can deliver long-lasting performance and maintain its appearance even under demanding environmental conditions.
Stainless Steel Ferrule Mesh Specification Selection:
Selecting the appropriate mesh specification is essential to ensure both safety and cost-effectiveness. In general, the mesh opening size is determined by the size of the animal, while the wire rope diameter is selected according to the animal’s strength and activity level.
Different animal species have different enclosure requirements. Therefore, the optimal mesh specification should be chosen based on the specific animal, enclosure design, and environmental conditions.
By selecting the most suitable wire rope diameter and mesh aperture, the enclosure can provide reliable safety and durability while effectively reducing overall project costs.
Commonly used stainless steel cable mesh rope diameter and wire rope structure:
Rope diameter: 3/64″(1.2mm); 1/16″(1.6mm); 5/64″(2.0mm); 3/32″(2.4mm); 1/8″(3.2mm);
Rope structure: 7*7 structure
(i.e. one rope is twisted from 7 strands of fine steel wire rope, and each strand of fine steel wire rope is twisted from 7 steel wires)
